Calibrating models#

Demand model components are often estimated in isolation, but in application they interact with each other. Calibration makes sure the combined, integrated model matches aggregate observed metrics. Calibration can also be used to update an exisiting model with new data or to jumpstart a model for a new region by transferring demand model files from a different region and then calibrating to local data.
